| The Meerkids are a group of five 5th graders at Setswana Elementary School. Their names are Akili, Malika, Tabo, Sekou, Tala and Tabo. Every day in the Kalahari desert, the Meerkids face all kinds of problems and complicated situations. They are able to get through these challenges by always thinking creatively, sticking together and never giving up. | Each of the Meerkids has chosen their own special Adinkra symbol.
